Cristogracia Spanish Horse Stud and Training Facility had another successful event at the Mareeba All Breeds Horse Show which was recently held at Kerribee Park, Mareeba on the 27-28 August 2016.
It was wonderful to see the high standard of the show and the diverse array of classes on offer, for the horse enthusiast and spectator alike.
It was particularly lovely to see the return of showjumping and the encouragement that young riders had in the form of the wide variety of classes that they could participate in.
Young riders are after all, the future of the equine industry.
Cristogracia had a very successful show, in both the Andalusian Breed classes and the Open events.
It was particularly lovely to see stunning mare Diestro Bengala make her return to claim Supreme Andalusian Exhibit of the Show for the second year running. We eagerly await the arrival of her foal in 2017.
Cristogracia Spanish Horse Stud and Training Facility would like to thank the dedicated committee and volunteers for putting on another successful show, without whom the Mareeba All Breeds would cease to exist.
We eagerly await the 2017 show and are sure it will be even better than ever before.

In 2007, 26-year-old Danyele Foster was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Condition. For most of her life, she was misunderstood, stigmatised, and lived a barren, isolated existence.
She knew what it was to be the unwanted stranger, forever on the outside looking in.
Since her diagnosis, she has increased in self-knowledge and confidence and her life has been profoundly transformed through hard work and perseverance.
Danyele graduated from Good Counsel College, Innisfail with commendable results and then studied a Bachelor of Arts/Laws majoring in History and Politics at JCU Townsville. Unfortunately she was not able to complete this degree due to problems associated with undiagnosed Autism, in addition to severe depression and anxiety.
After many years in the wilderness and after receiving her diagnosis, she began to put her life back on track. She currently has a Certificate three in Business Administration and Outdoor Recreation (Trail Riding) and has also completed a NCAS RDAA Level O (Assistant Coach) certificate and aim to complete Level 1 RDA coaching certificate. Also on her agenda is completing a Diploma of Library and Information studies which will enable her to find employment in the library/museum/gallery fields.
Danyele also has her heart set on becoming an Equine Facilitated Learning mentor, to assist people in living with Autism and depression/anxiety. Part time university study is also on the cards in the next few years in order to contribute to the Autism field and to assist in those on the Spectrum, from a lived experience, as well as a clinical perspective.
