Cristogracia Spanish Horse Stud and Training Facility is located on the Atherton Tablelands near the quaint country town of Tarzali , Far North Queensland. Established in 2003, Cristogracia is a family business owned and operated by husband and wife team Chris Maudsley and Grant Gardiner.

The dream began with the purchase of Alegria Agraciado, then a 7 month old colt, who has matured into a fine, elegant bay stallion with a great temperament. A second colt, Alegria Serio, was purchased next. He is a magnificent stallion typical of the breed - with oval shapes and a long flowing mane and tail. Sporting a superb temperament , he is a very kind, loving stallion.

Both stallions are our personal riding horses as well as competitive performance stallions. They have won multiple championships, including Supremes in Andalusian and Open classes. Both are approved for breeding by the Cria Caballar (Spanish Revision Team) and are recognized internationally. Stud services are available and we are currently exploring the feasibility of setting up an AI facility.

 

 

What we offer

We specialize in starting horses under saddle using Natural Horsemanship Techniques, on going training, problem float loading, halter training yearlings, socialisation of horses, and preparing for the farrier.

Our Facilities

Our facilities are always being improved to provide a safe, fun learning environment for both horses and people. Under one roof, our stables consist of:

·  six 4m by 4m stalls

·  2 spacious stallion boxes

·  tack room, wash bay, feed area

·  indoor 14m by 14m sand arena 

Out doors we have:

       · 15m round yard and

       ·  60m by 20m dressage arena

       · fully fenced paddocks
